Arsene Wenger, Arsenal Manager Against Quotas

arsenal-soccer-ball.jpgArsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has made clear his stance against foreign-player quotas proposed by football’s governing body.

A new plan being supported by FIFA would force club teams to have at least six players eligible to play for the club’s national association.

The Gunners’ boss amusingly argued, “What can you say to a guy who pays money to watch your team? ‘This player’s first touch is not good, yes, we know, but he is English. What can I do?'”
