David Beckham, Real Madrid President Claims Becks Will Stay

October 28, 2006

david-beckham-balls.jpgReal Madrid president Ramon Calderon claims David Beckham will be staying at the club.

Twice, Calderon has claimed that a deal with Beckham would be sealed in 15 to 20 days, although both deadlines have passed.

Calderon also claimed that Beckham would end his career at the club, but that was refuted by a Beckham spokesperson the next day.

The latest quote from Calderon states, “I’m almost sure.”

Beckham is no longer a regular starter for Real Madrid and will be free to talk with other clubs in January if an agreement is not reached.
