West Ham Crash Out of Lowly Carling Cup

October 25, 2006

West Ham crashed out to Chesterfield 2 -1 in the Carling Cup, England’s least prestigious competition.

Things are going from bad to worse for Alan Pardew’s Hammers as they have lost eight in a row since Carlos Tevez and Javer Mascherano have joined the Premier League side.

Chesterfield are currently 15th in League One, England’s third division.
