David Beckham Not Finished at Real Madrid

According to reports, even though David Beckham is no longer starting for Real Madrid, his future at the club is not in doubt.

Both Beckham and club president Ramon Calderon have expressed that the former England captain will be signing a new contract.

Michael Robinson, who is the presenter of Spain’s biggest football television show, states, “Capello has been quite pleased with the way David has been working this season. David has not been playing badly, it is not a problem with him.”

Fernando Torres, Manchester United’s Alleged Swoop

It is being widely reported that Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres has agreed to a deal that will see him at Old Trafford next season.

Manchester United is said to have secured the deal with a 5 million pound down-payment for the 22 year-old.

Torres’ buy-out clause had just recently been lowered, fueling speculation a move was imminent.
