In an interview with the Daily Mirror, David Beckham says, “…I’ve got a burning desire to prove him wrong,” when speaking of new England manager Steve McClaren.
The former England captain says he was “disappointed and hurt” to be left out of the England squad and expressed his desire to continue for his country.
Beckham played well for Real Madrid last weekend with two brilliant assists, but was in poor form with the rest of his teammates in the Spanish giants’ midweek Champions League loss to Lyon.
