Even though the Red Devils have been stunningly good so far this season, I admit to being very surprised that Sir Alex is going forward without any more reinforcements. It’s not like he’s hurting at striker without Van Nistelrooy, but you always think of Man U as having subs as good as any other teams’ first team.
Of course, at least Fergie knows that Trezeguet won’t be getting himself cup-tied before January. So maybe he’s just holding off for a bit of high drama next year.
Either way, I still think United will challenge Chelsea for the title.
